The Pellicot children then stormed out of the courtroom and did not return for some time, with Giselle Pellicot later stating that this was “not a family court.”
When a lawyer told Ms. Pellicott that she was still under her ex-husband’s control and could not bring herself to fully convict him, she stood silently in court as lawyers from both sides shouted at each other.
The presiding judge had to step in to bring the dispute to an end.
Later that day, the court heard Dominic Pellico’s statement he gave to police in November 2020, two months after a supermarket security guard caught him on video up women’s skirts.
This eventually led to police finding thousands of videos he had taken of men having sex with his wife while she was unconscious. She had no idea what had happened and realized that he had been drugging her from 2011 to 2020.
Dominic Pellico, who pleaded guilty to all charges, asked lawyer Giselle Pellico what he should tell his family, especially his daughter Caroline.
When asked about the file, which he described as “my naked daughter”, he addressed her across the room: “I watched her fall apart…Caroline, I never touched you.”
She shouted to the whole court: “You are lying, I am sick of your lies, you are alone in your lies, you will die in lies.”
There was complete silence as they stared at each other and Dominic Pellico put his head in his hands.
The rest of the family looked at him with pained faces, but Giselle Pellicot herself did not react.
When asked if he agreed that he manipulated the other defendants into raping his wife, or admitted to drugging them, he firmly replied, “Absolutely not.”
He suggested that they used this protection “to save themselves”.
The trial is due to conclude next month and deliver a verdict in the second half of December.
