“We are not interested in the war, we are not interested in annexation. We are not interested in changing the regime,” said Ms Makala in the BBC Newsday program.
The South African Development Community (SADC), a regional block consisting of 16 members, holds a special meeting on Friday in Zimbabwe to discuss the Congo Doctor.
Sadc sent peacekeeping troops, primarily from South Africa, Dr. Congo to fight armed groups such as M23, and restore peace in a rich mineral region after a decade of unrest. Last week, sixteen SADC soldiers were killed in m23 fighting.
In the war with his South African counterpart, President Rwanda Kagam stated that the SADC troops “was not a peacekeeping force, and there was no place in this situation.”
Ms Makala claimed that Rwanda troops provided their borders in response to “repeated violations”, including the dead border shelling.
“DRC must do a better job to get their territory in order. This is their responsibility,” she said.
Ms Wagner urged to stop foreign aid sent to Rwanda and the sanctions that will be placed on the leaders, “allowing this war”.
She also called for Rwanda’s troops to dismiss the peacekeeping missions around the world.
“We must witness the country that represents itself as a world-bearing in other countries, to be (Eng) Samganger in the Great Lakes region,” she said.
