Dayle Haddon: Model dies in suspected carbon monoxide leak

The man, who police described in critical condition at a New Jersey hospital, has been identified as Walter J. Blucas, whose son is married to Haddon’s daughter.

Records show the home is owned by Haddon’s daughter, former journalist Ryan Haddon, and her husband, actor Mark Blucas, according to the BBC’s US partner, CBS News.

A preliminary investigation indicated that the cause of the leak was a faulty exhaust pipe in the building’s heating system, police said.

They added that the high level of carbon monoxide in the property affected the emergency services, with two paramedics being hospitalized with carbon monoxide exposure and a police officer being treated at the scene.

Dale Haddon was born and raised in Quebec, Canada and began her career as a ballerina.

She moved to the US to pursue a modeling career and later worked in film, appearing in films including The World’s Greatest Athlete, released in 1973, and Dallas Forty North, released in 1973. in 1979.

Paying tribute to his mother Ryan Haddon wrote on Instagram, external that Dale had a “pure heart” and “a life well lived.”

“She was a woman in her own power, but gentle and considerate to everyone. Deeply creative and curious, gifted with beauty inside and out. Always kind and considerate,” she said.

“She was a high-spirited spiritual being who placed importance on her soul’s evolution, so I know her journey here to this dimension must be complete.”
