The American people can smell like a rat. If we want to be a trusted partner, we must show that we are worthy and are ready to do everything we need to do, explain and bring people to us.

Since Democrats and millions of Americans across the country are facing Donald Trump, Elon Musk and the rest of the Maga Republicans, we must make sure we understand what this struggle is that our vision for the future.

We need to understand what we stand for, fight for this vision and invite everyone who wants to be in our tent to enter.

Most importantly, we need to fight for a true democratic vision, not for a republican vision that causes people to question, or at all. This means that we should proudly be for a salary that allows you to work for one job instead of three, allow you to do enough to have a roof over your head, food on the table, good education for your children, healthcare you can afford, and leave with decent.

We should proudly be a true socio -economic opportunity that respects everyone for who they are, and respects our differences, but also our common vision of how we can flourish rather than just survive.

And the Democratic Party should stop taking care of those billionaires who simply pour money to defeat us, destroy trade unions and all organized authorities seeking to resist them.

This is a hug of billionaires of medodonists, corporate PAC and powerful special interests – this is exactly what led to a catastrophic election in 2024. But everyone who thinks we just lost this election is missing the point.

Current Issue

Issue Cover May 2025.

We started losing more than a decade ago when the Democrats deliberately abandoned workers throughout America to push free trade rather than fair trade during NAFTA. We have strengthened this by helping large banks and Wall -Story instead of working people and main street during the 2008 recession.

And it took too long to make the democratic institution rally around the minimum wage or development of the universal system, which did not just subsidize private insurance companies to provide medical care several, raising bets for everyone else. We continue to defend economic and political systems, rigged against people instead of being ready to call what you need to change.

Let’s change the scenario. It’s time to respect the natural base of the Democrats of voters and potential voters and work to defeat them.

Instead of constantly attaching to the constantly changing polls, the Democrats must be leaders in shaping public opinion regarding an inclusive and fair vision that gives each person and the poor man a place for the condition. Abraham Lincoln understood the need to use our powerful platforms forever when he said perfectly: “The one who forms public sentiment goes deeper than the one who makes the statutes or utters court decisions.”

Our opposition program should boldly push away from the Mog-extremists and fascist efforts to deprive the things we need to survive. We need to withstand economic and nativist cruelty and inhumanity – whether the poor people across the country or the Trump’s mass deportation program. And we must be prepared to return the fight at all levels against Trump’s outrageous agenda, which gives 4.5 trillion. Tax taxes for billionaires and betrays workers and poor people, reducing each program and benefit we need to thrive in America.

But we also need to have a very clear agenda that attracts people – and this indicates the need to refurbish our healthcare institutions to education to jobs and wages.

We need to fight Trump’s attacks on health care while upholding a valid universal healthcare program that doesn’t put more than 100 million Americans 220 billion dollars debt Even deeper in red.

We need to withstand Trump and Elon, which accept the network saw to our economy, and tell in detail our plans to reduce housing, grocery products and costs for children.

We need to do our best to stop Trump’s large-scale tax reduction for the rich and ensure a clear alternative to make ultra-account and large corporations pay their share.

And as we do it, we must remember that hypocrisy does not work: you cannot be in bed with corporations, take their money, and then tell people that you are fighting for working people for big donors of the company.

The American people can smell like a rat. If we want to be a trusted partner, we must show that we are worthy and are ready to do everything we need to do, explain and bring people to us.

Democrats need to stop rejecting the process and rules. We must be clear that we will summarize this falsified system and do everything you need to make good salaries, affordable housing, universal health care and expanding social insurance. We need to actually invest in our base of organized work, expanding the right to organize and invest in home production.

It is no coincidence that my home state Washington is the only state that has barely changed in November. We have one of the denser states in the country, and together with public organizations used both the chosen bodies and the newsletter to show who we are standing for.

The city I represent, Seattle, was the first major city, which in 2014 received a minimum wage of $ 15 – and our economy remains one of the strongest in the country. We were one of the first states that raised the minimum wage to one of the highest in the country, and tie it to inflation to balance the higher costs. We provide the strongest program for payment family vacation and the most generous assistance program in the country’s college. And when the Republicans tried to cancel the capital gains tax, even voters in the counties who passed 90 percent to Trump rejected it, agreeing that the richest should pay their share in taxes.

Washington voters were less likely to give up the US Democrats because we never gave up on them.

Consider the stunning statistics that 90 million voters did not register in 2024. It’s from above 9.1 million registered voters who have not voted at all In 2024. These numbers are absolutely a gnome at Trump’s popular victory only 2 million voters.

Even in key states, such as Wisconsin, Arizona and Michigan, the population of people who have not voted are quite important enough to change the trajectory of results in these states.

What would it be if we gave up on the usual “creation” of thinking and reviewing who our “scope” voters are 90 million people? Our way to victory must be understood about our opposition and our proposal, talk directly to people and fight during them. No more than the same centrist who insult no one.

Good news is that this is not an ideological struggle in the Democratic Party, regardless of BelTwi’s corporate groups that push the tired centrism. Progressives, tolerant, independent and even some Republicans just want a system that is not rigged against them.

We can return people from a clear populist agenda that resonates in red and blue areas. We can refuse to listen to the same corporate interests that killed our agreed identity of the party by accepted the contracts for the fight against the surname, tirelessly lobbying the Senate Democrats against many policy workers, or abandoning immigrants, trans-children or poor people.

Democracies have been in a few months, not years, so it is relevant. But we can do it. Let’s start now.

Chaos and the cruelty of the Trump administration reach new lows each week.

Trump’s catastrophic “Liberation Day” was inflicted by the world economy and created another constitutional crisis at home. Civilian officers continue to abduct the university students from the streets. The so-called “opponents” fly abroad in a mega-tour against the ruling of the courts. And SignalGate promises to become the first of many incompetence scandals that expose violent violence at the heart of the American Empire.

At the time when elite universities, powerful law firms and influential media capitulate Trump intimidation, Nation more determined than if -no one earlier to contain a powerful account.

In the last month, we have published a report on how Trump raises his mass deportation program to other countries, exposed the administration’s appeal to the laws to comply with his repressive agenda, and strengthened the votes of brave activists aimed at universities.

We also continue to tell the stories of those who retreat against Trump and Musk, whether on the streets in the growth of protest movements, in the town halls across the country or in critical state elections – for example, a recent Wisconsin Supreme Court race – which gives a model of confrontation and prove that Musk cannot acquire our democracy.
