CCTV footage from a garage in Port Vila shows the moment a 7.3 magnitude earthquake struck the Vanuatu capital.
The earthquake, which struck at 12:47 local time (01:47 GMT) on Tuesday, triggered landslides, crushed cars and flattened several buildings.
Two people can be seen running away from the debris that has fallen in the garage, while the camera also appears to pick up a dog trying to escape the danger.
There are unconfirmed reports of deaths and the full extent of damage in Vanuatu remains unclear.
