The BBC’s Middle East correspondent Lina Sinjab witnessed people ransacking a residence owned by Bashar al-Assad in chaotic scenes after he fled the country.
“I have never been on this street… I see people rushing to this place out of revenge and also with great happiness that they managed to break in,” she said.
