It happened around 4:00 pm local time (15:00 GMT) near the main Square of the Vilakh, the southern city, near the border with Italy and Slovenia.

The victim was 14 years old, and the suspect was a Syrian asylum seeker who was detained, AFP reports, reports with a police officer.
