Ukraine says North Korean troops back on front line

Last week, Ukrainian special forces fighting in Kursk reported the BBC that they did not see any North Korean troops over the last 21 days.

The press -secretary said that after the victims of heavy losses, they were pulled out that they had been pulled.

The press -secretary added that he referred only to the areas where his forces fought, giving no details about how long this front line was.

Recent reports related to South Korean intelligence suggested that North Korean soldiers are not ready for the modern war and especially vulnerable to Ukrainian drones.

Military experts say reports of North Korea’s victims when they continue at this pace is impossible.

The soldiers were posted after the Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Karem leader Kim Jong Un deepened bilateral ties, including the signing of the Security and Defense Agreement.

Pyongyang’s assistance in Moscow also extends to a large number of ammunition and weapons.

It was also that the troops were sent to increase the Russian combat forces, which saw significant losses.

The Russian military has not publicly revealed the victims of the battle since September 2022, when they said that 5,937 soldiers were killed.

But the President of Ukraine said up to 350,000 Russian soldiers were killed this week, and other reports suggested that the number may be much larger.

Zelensky has made Ukraine’s military sacrifices at 45 100 – but a number of military experts, both in Ukraine and the West, believe that the losses are much higher.

Six months ago, Ukrainian troops launched lightning in Kursk, capturing more than 1000 square km (386 square miles) of the Russian territory.

Since then, the Russian troops have managed to return a significant piece of the region.

However, both Ukrainian and Russian military bloggers have reported a new impetus to Ukrainian troops in Kursk over the past two days.

Russian military said the attacks were pushed away, but some reports believe that the Ukrainians were able to seize more Russian territory. They were not checked independently.

In other key developments on Friday:

  • Russian military said its forces seized the key city of Torrets in the eastern region of Ukraine – but a press secretary of Ukrainian hostilities said the fight continued at the industrial center

  • US President Donald Trump said he would probably meet with President Zelensky next week, and I will probably talk to President Putin. I would like to see this military end. ”
