Trump Upturns American Foreign Policy

During his first term, Donald Trump often spoke about his radical America, but in practice his foreign policy was a common Republican hawk. Only five weeks in the second term there was a noticeable change. This shift was frightened by many US allies, especially NATO and Mexico countries. However, mixed with Trump’s propaganda in the new manifest fate were welcome that its administration would be more open for negotiations with Russia, Iran and perhaps even China.

In order to make sense of conflicting foreign policy messages and Trump’s actions, I was pleased to talk to Stephen Veteim, who shares my conviction that we need to distinguish Trump’s rhetoric and his actions.
