On Monday, US President Donald Trump is expected to formally decide to remove Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Initiatives (DEI) from the Department of Defense, one of several military-focused executive orders expected today.
The second order would direct US officials to formulate policies regarding transgender people.
Third executive order reinstates military personnel fired for refusing Covid-19 vaccines.
Removing DEI programs from the federal government was a major campaign promise of Trump’s — and he moved quickly to implement it after taking office last week.
