Irish police said the man was arrested after a “serious incident” in North Dublin.
Three victims were taken to a hospital for treatment that are not threatening, Irish Times reports.
The man was arrested in the city of Stonibater on Sunday and is currently being detained in the police.
Police remain at the scene, but said there was no “constant risk to the public” at this time.
