American foreign policy is now everything about incompetent shakedown and cover.

No reasonable man can disrupt Hillary Clinton her belated moment of victorious revenge. In 2016, Clinton’s reputation repeatedly stretched through the dirt media and the Republicans over the intended scandal about using a private e -mail server, leaving the State Business as a secretary of state. The statement of the anti-clinths was that this security violation made it unusable for the presidency, when it opposes as the deficiencies of the candidate as Donald Trump.
But now Trump’s inner circle has been caught by a security violation, which is immensely worse than whatever Clinton has never been plausible. On Monday, Atlantic Editor Jeffrey Goldberg disclosed What he was from March 11 to March 15, he was very mistaken in entering the Group Chat at the signal when the senior Trump administration officials planned a military attack on Yemen. Among the participants of the group chat were Vice -President JD Vance, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegset, National Security Advisor Michael Waltz and Presidential Advisor Stephen Miller. It was also revealed that the Director of the National Intelligence Director Tuls Gabard and Secretary of State Mark Rubio was also the subject. In this chat, they planned a war and discussed relations with the allies.
Bombshell Goldberg contained numerous scandals. The wars are not intended for planning in group chats – certainly not in chat, where the reporter was easily eavesdrop. Hillary Clinton responded to the news with Sly Aplomb, posing emoji, showing the affected eyes and writing“You have to joke me.”
But outside the security violation, which certainly gives many grounds for Democrats to attack the Trump administration, a group chat offers a great window in the internal work of the Trump administration. Safety violation itself is one of the biggest reconnaissance debates in American history – but it is necessary to make the essence of the group chat even worse.
Here are some key chat lessons.
First Lesson: Trump runs the Mafia state.
It is unlikely that the main external political people of Trump used group chat rather than legitimate channels. Trump hates records his business and political activity because he prefers to avoid legal control. As a political scientist at Colgate Sam Rosenfeld notes“Administrator, the following (illegally) lifelong Potus code does not want to record.” According to Goldberg, “Waltz has installed some messages in a group of signals that disappear in a week, and some after four. This raises questions about whether officials may violate the law of federal records: text messages about official actions are considered to be preserved.” Using signal and setting messages for the disappearance shows intentionally intention to avoid legal recording requirements.
Lesson Second: Pete Heagset is a bald liar and it doesn’t matter.
Even after the White House confirmed that Goldberg was indeed in a group chat, hegset tried to dismiss History as a “hoax”. In any ordinary introduction of Hegegset would be fired on the spot. But it is unlikely with Trump, and the Senate, which rallied the highlight of the HEGST, will almost certainly gain a party line.
Third lesson: the war with Yemen did not make sense and was held without a counseling congress and allies.
In Hegset’s conversations, “I think there will be tough messaging, no matter what – Nobody knows who the goose – so we will need to remain concentrated on: 1) Biden failed and 2), which is financed.” The reason why the “messaging” was tough is that the war was the exercise in flexing pure muscles. It made no strategic meaning. The wide argument was that the war was necessary to unlock the delivery through the Suez Canal. But the only reason when the Huti government from Yemen threatened the shipping strip was from the Israel’s attack on gas. Trump administration nominally seeks to revive the ceasefire. There is no discussion about the consulting about the congress (which only has power to declare war – a designated part of the Constitution, which was not honored for almost a century), or allies that this action was supposed to benefit. It was also not possible to negotiate with Yemen, which never went into thought.
Fourth lesson: Trump administration really hates Europe, but still wants to fight the wars on his behalf.
The only voice that asked about the tide into the war was JD Vance, which caused a reasonable objection that the fight against the war on behalf of Europe made little sense when the administration was also in the name of America’s first foreign policy, continuing the shutdown from Russia/Ukraine. As Vnes, “3 percent of trade in the United States, goes through Suez. 40 percent of European trade. There is a real risk that the public does not understand or why it is necessary.” Vens later complains: “I just hate to help Europe.”
Responding to Vens’s objections, Hegset wrote: “Completely share the hatred of the European free download. This is pathetic. But Mike (waltz) is right, we are the only ones on the planet (on our side of the book) that can do it.” In other words, the Trump administration in America is still seized throughout the lip service in America, seeing the United States as a “indispensable nation” that police should be around the world. America first is unable to go beyond the intrusive intervention that Trump as a candidate often criticized
Fifth lesson: America’s contradictions are first resolved by mafia mafia.

As the first foreign policy in America is already betraying its basic principles, Trump administration tries to save the face trying to throw a mafia style. Waltz tries to put Vens’ concern, writing: “According to the President, we work with DOD and State to determine how to collect the costs related to them and recover them on Europeans.”
Stephen Miller shares that goal, writing that “we (we) quickly make it clear to Egypt and Europe what we expect in return. We also need to find out how to fulfill such a requirement. For example, if Europe does not reward, what?
It is difficult not to avoid the thought that this conversation about the reward is a post -factic way of rationalizing a war that has little strategic meaning. The purpose of the war seems to show strength on the international stage and achieve victory that evaded Joe Biden. But since this war is also in tensions with the first principles of America, there is an opportunity to pay Egyptian and European.
Greg Brew, Senior Analyst Group Eurosia, notes Strategic inconsistency of war – this
They actually do not realize anything that would achieve the stated goal of the Red Sea. The bombing of the goose is not enough; There has been a consensus about it for more than a year.
If it is not combined with a ground -ended or diplomatic company directed around the permanent ceasefire to Gaza, the US company will either continue indefinitely, or Peter is quiet when the participants recognize the defeat.
Summarizing the results, a gloomy picture emerges an administration flying into the pants seat, aware of its own policy trouble, but hoping to create the facade of force through a bewildered tough conversation and allies’ escape. Trump rules the state of the mafia, but it is no longer incompetent than the actual scythe. Safety violation is indeed a major scandal. But the actual content of the group chat is even worse.
The hard and chaotic second term Donald Trump is just beginning. In the first month, Trump’s office and his Like -Elon Musk (or this is the opposite?) Proved that nothing is safe from sacrifice at the altar without checking strength and wealth.

The minority leader in the Senate wants to make sure that everyone else is fighting for democracy – so he is not at risk.

The bad news is that the leader of the Democratic Senate Senate is not ready for re -election until 2028. Good news is that it can resign now and should do it two.

While the United States was a restless nation long before the Coronavirus, our inability to regard the pandemic as a strong emergency, helped to give birth to this unpleasant moment.
