According to local authorities, twelve people were injured after the pomegranate was thrown into a busy bar in the French city of Grenobl.
The incident happened at the Aksehir bar shortly after 20:00 local time (19:00 GMT) on Wednesday night, leaving two people in critical condition.
The motive of the attack is not clear, but the investigators say that “they can be associated with the regulation of points.”
Prosecutor François Turet de Crimaurist said the obvious accounts were assumed by a suspect who was still unknown, they may also attack the Kalashnik.
Speaking to journalists at the scene, he said: “Nothing makes us think that it is due to terrorism,” describing the incident as “an act of extreme violence.”
He added that investigators are considering possible contacts with drug trafficking.
Authorities said many people were located in the Olympic village residential district when the suspect was briefly entered.
About 80 firefighters and police officers were located at the scene, and on Thursday morning on Thursday, the left, the French newspaper Le Figaro reports.
The deputy mayor Chloe Pantel told AFP that the venue is “where the locals and people from the neighborhood are going, especially for watching football matches.”
The police presence in the area will remain for a while, she added.
Having settled on X, Mayor Eric Pila condemned what he called “a criminal act of extraordinary violence” before thanking the salvation and forces for rapid interference.
