On Monday, the Grover Beach Police Department in California released dramatic body camera footage of a man being rescued from a burning trailer.
The cause of the fire was determined to be a portable propane heater.
Grover Beach officers were able to prevent the fire from spreading. The man was taken to the hospital with only minor injuries, police said.
With temperatures dropping to 8C (47F) on Friday night, fire officials issued a warning urging caution for people using portable heaters in small or crowded spaces.
