The case “should be resolved here in court,” said Prosecutor Layla, Michael Gotlib, said Juda Lewis Liman. “It should not be resolved in the press.”

Mr. Gotlib accused Baldoni Brian Friedman’s lawyer of “inflammatory extrajudicial comments” about the “character and motifs” of Lila while speaking on the news channels.

In response, Mr. Friedman said that Mr. Gotlib tried to impose a “order” that prevented him from talking to the media. According to him, Baldoni was the one who was harming his reputation.

“My client is devastated financially and emotionally,” Mr. Friedman said in court.

Based on the novel, which is the best -session of Colin Hoover, it ends when we became the hit after the release in August. But despite financial success, rumors of the bitter hostility between Baldoni and the living began to spin before the movie was even released.

Both sides in the legal battles “gave publicly to enjoy,” Judge Liman said on Monday.

He said that when the case ended with a “press trial”, he may be forced to go to the date of the lawsuit in March 2026 so that the jury is not biased against any of the accused.

The judge also stated that he would take the measure of lawyers in New York – Rule 3.6 – which forbids lawyers to make statements publicly, who could shake the results of the trial.

The hearing on Monday happened after Baldoni filed a complemented complaint against Lively, which included the “terms” of events in the 168-page. His team also launched a new complaint website as well as other public videos and text messages that surround the case.

Lively’s lawyer raised the site in court on Monday. “Who created the web -sight?” asked Mr. Gotlib. “Who financed it?”

Mr. Gotlyib also took the question when Baldoni came out of the romantic scene that ends with us, which, he said, proves that the accusations of sexual harassment are unjustified.

But Lively replied, saying that the couples shooting the slow dance scene are “damn” and confirming its claims.

The Lively team on Monday promised to file a complaint that would include even more people in this case.

Several other parties have already been involved in legal drama. Baldoni sues the New York Times for slander, saying that his co -author had led to the access to the complaint against civil rights. The Times was the first story that published her costume last December. The New York Times denied the charges.

Several public relations companies that worked with Baldon and live during their film are also defendants.

Some of these issues will be considered in a separate lawsuit after the busy and Baldoni, Judge Liman said on Monday.

He also said that the legal groups of Baldoni and Lale should agree with a security order, a legal document that protects people involved in this case from another person who is accused of abuse or persecution.

Such an order is needed, said Judge Liman, because of the “significant number of high-profile people” in the case and the “nature of the accusations”.

During the hearings, Baldoni’s lawyer also pressed the judge to follow the previous court schedule, which offered both sides, saying that his client wanted to progress “as soon as possible”.

Judge Liman agreed to lawyer Baldoni, with several small changes in the schedule.

“There will be a time when the juror speaks on this issue,” said Judge Liman.
