American actor De’voreaux White It was in his 20s when he played Argyle, the funny and confused limousine driver for John McClane, in the 1988 Christmas movie Die Hard.
De’voreaux shared the big screen back Bruce Willis when an NYPD detective goes to his estranged wife John McClane’s holiday party, Bonnie Bedelia as John’s wife and top executive Holly Gennaro-McClain and Alan Rickman as a violent terrorist who broke into Nakatomi Plaza in an attempt to steal $640 million in bonds.
Argyle was also in The Jeffersons, Little House on the Meadow and Places in the Heart.
