“The baby in me starting to write songs when I was small in Maine, screaming, crying and laughing at the absurdity of this moment,” she said, picking up the gold gramophone on Sunday night.
“This is the third year, when the song author of the year was even a category, so this award goes to all the legends that have coordinated life and generations with all our stories.

Allen, the singer herself, who released her debut album last September, came into the world of music at the age of eight – playing the bass in the team.
