Liam Payne, a former member of One Direction, has died aged 31 in Argentina, police say.
Police said he fell from the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires, AFP and local media reported.
Earlier this month, he attended a concert in Argentina by his former One Direction bandmate Niall Horan.
Payne was part of the much-loved boy band alongside Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Zayn Malik.
The pop artist first appeared on ITV’s talent show The X Factor in 2010 and went on to become one of the best-selling boy bands, breaking streaming records in August 2015.
