Trump faces moment of reckoning on trade after delaying tariffs

Then, after talking to the President of Mexico Claudia Sheinbaum and the Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudu, Trump paid tariffs. While new duties in China came into force – and pushed measures from Beijing – The markets were viewed by those moving in the US as less destructive and smaller in volume.

In contrast, if the US participated in the escalation series of fares with Canada and Mexico, which was more than 1.57 -ry (1.24 pounds) in the goods in 2023, the global economic effect could be catastrophic.

This may have been a difficult development as long as Trump and his administration announced at least a partial victory.

Details that Canada and Mexico have conceded are drawing a more complex picture.

While Canada agreed to form joint fight against crimes in the United States and appoint a “fentanyl-church”, the specific steps he described in detail were part of the Canada border package.

Mexico promised to strengthen addiction and 10,000 troops to patrol the US and Mexico – but these figures reflect the deployment of the nation made in 2019 and again in 2021

A month later, Trump will again have to decide whether Canada and Mexico will do enough to meet his requirements – or take the tariff delay.

However, solid figures that demonstrate progress can be difficult.

By Administration’s Own Measures, US Immigration Officials Only Seized 43LBS (19.5kg) of Fentanyl and Caught 193,540 People Crossing at the 2024. Umented Crossings – and Drug Attacks- too.
