A fire aboard Gimhae Air Busan International Airport began at 22:26 local time (13:26 GMT) on Tuesday, Yonhap news agency reported, citing South Korea’s fire bodies.
It states that the firefighters arrived at the scene in eight minutes.
Later, photos showing a burning aircraft that poured water.
There were 169 passengers and seven crews aboard the plane.
The cause of the fire is investigated.
Air Busan is a budget airline, the mother company – Asiana Airlines.
Busana Airport is located about 315 km (195 miles) southeast of the capital, Seoul.
