Those who survived the Holocaust celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Nazi concentration camp Auschwitz in Poland.
Marian Turki, 98 years old, Yanina Ivansk, 94, and Tovo Friedman, 86, survived and shared their terrible memories of Auschwitz at the ceremony on Monday before the world leaders.
People also approached the “Wall of Death” and left candles to express their respect near Block 11 in Auschwitz, where thousands of prisoners were punished by SS officers.
About 1.1 million people, most of whom Jews were killed in Auschwitz complex, making it a place of the largest mass shooting of people from all recorded.
