The Golden Globes are an event that aims to celebrate the best that the film industry has to offer… and they’re also a hotbed for potentially awkward conversations, as many stars have the chance to bump into their exes.
The 2025 edition of one of Hollywood’s biggest events kicks off in less than a few hours … and several celebrities who used to attend such events together are now going solo or with their new partners.
Now, not all of these couples have recently dated … take Angelina Jolie and: Billy Bob Thornton They were married from 2000 to 2003. Both are up for awards this year. Angelina for her movie Mariah and Billy for his TV show Landman.
Billy said the two remain good friends despite divorcing more than 20 years ago… which is more than he can say about it. Brad Pitt – with whom he just resolved an acrimonious divorce.

Speaking of Jolie, she dated him once Colin Farrell also … who’s on the show tonight, so maybe she’ll run into another ex.
More recently separated couples include Andrew Garfield and: Emma Stone who started dating after meeting The Amazing Spider-Man, and had an on-again, off-again romance between 2010 and 2015.
Emma has been married ever since and there doesn’t seem to be any awkwardness between her and AG.
Meanwhile, Sebastian Stan and: Leighton Meester will be there too… and they’ve been dating for two years since dating Gossip Girl. Leighton is now married… so there’s no reason to gossip about these two.
Other exes who might bump into each other… Jake Gyllenhaal and: Kirsten Dunst, Timothée Chalamet – who should be present with his new flame, Kylie Jenner — and Eiza Gonzalezand much more.
