A smile may be Buddy the Elf’s favorite… but, Will FerrellIt’s to keep people guessing because he says he dressed up as an iconic character just to mix things up.
The actor stopped by “New Heights”. Travis and: Jason Kelce‘s podcast, and they asked him about his recent appearance at the LA Kings game that sent the internet into a frenzy … where he arrived as Buddy, who was on a hard time.

Will explains that the idea came to him a week before the game… and he basically bought the dress and dressed on a whim;
Ferrell is a season ticket holder. The Crypto.com Arena has seats right on the glass…and, he thought, people would come out of it.
Will says he was surprised at how big the moment got … noting that a lot of people online seemed to think he was promoting something, even though he just thought it would be funny : So don’t expect a Dark Elf sequel next Christmas.
Ferrell ends the video by explaining: “Sometimes, I just like to do weird things like that, just to stir it up.”
Bottom line…Will Ferrell isn’t a cotton-headed nincompoop, but he’s always looking to make people laugh.
