Wendy Williams Smiling in First Sighting Since ‘Permanently Incapacitated’ Claim

Wendy Williams Rarely seen in public … seen for the first time since his carer claimed he was ‘permanently incapacitated’ due to early-onset dementia.

The former TV queen was all smiles, chilling in the backseat of a black SUV as she picked up an order from Sho’nuff Oysters in sunny Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The video was shared on IG by the blogger Antoine Edwardswho claimed that Wendy was joined by her cousin, Travis Finney.


This is Wendy’s first public appearance since August shopping spree in New Jersey – and first after his legal guardian, Sabrina Morrisseyfiled court papers demanding him mental health has deterioratedciting early-onset dementia that left him “cognitively impaired and permanently incapacitated.”

The lawsuit is part of an ongoing legal battle between Morrissey and the producers of Where’s Wendy Williams?

TMZ broke the story … Morrissey filed a lawsuit in February to stop the release of the document Despite the legal drama, the documentary eventually aired on Lifetimecovering Wendy’s fights alcohol — complete with a scene where he polished off an entire bottle of vodka.

As we reported … it was Wendy diagnosed with aphasia and dementia on May 23, just over a year after being placed under legal guardianship to manage his health and finances.
