His team accuses USAID of spending taxpayers’ money and failure to comply with the first priorities of America.

The poll showed skepticism among many Americans for foreign assistance. Since March 2023, the AP-NORC poll has proposed as many as nine of the 10 Republicans considered the country exceeding the costs.

The United States is definitely the largest humanitarian aid provider worldwide. He has bases in more than 60 countries and works in dozens of others, and most of his work was carried out by contractors.

The reported reduction plan, which would leave less than 300 employees, was named “outrageous” former USAID chief Brian Etwood. Speaking to Reuters news agency, he suggested that this step could kill an agency that saved millions of lives.

The US Foreign Service Union (AFSA), which suggested that only 294 employees were on the “significant” list, united with other work, the US Public Service Federation (AFGE) to file a lawsuit.

In addition to Trump, the lawsuit is committed to the US State Department, USAID, Ministry of Finance, Secretary of State and Minister of Treasury Scott Helte.

The lawsuit claims that the president violates the US Constitution and the federal law trying to dismantle the agency. “None of the defendants in the USAID dismantling has been accepted according to the permission to Congress,” the report said.

“And in accordance with the Federal Statute, Congress is the only formation that can legally dismantle the agency.”

He calls on appointing an independent acting director of USAID to restore USAID employees, to restore the USAID site to restore grants and contracts, as well as for obligatory evacuation reports for employees.

He asks the judge to immediately stop the implementation of the intestinal plan, USAID, who was headed by Elon Musk in the court claim of the urgent need to restore the assistance programs.

“These actions have caused a global humanitarian crisis, sharply stopping the important work of employees, grants and contractors USAID. They cost thousands of US jobs. And they caused the interests of the US national security,” the lawsuit said.

Thousands of USAID workers expect that an administrative vacation will be put on Friday night. The message posted on the agency’s website states that this will be applied to all direct rental from 23:59 EST (04:59 GMT).

On Wednesday, Rubio defended Trump’s steps against USAID, reporting 200 Guatemala agencies that the United States does not plan to stop the distribution of assistance to foreign countries. But he said the programs should meet the US priority.

“The United States does not leave foreign aid,” said the chief diplomat of America. ‘That’s not the case.

“We will continue to provide foreign assistance and participate in programs, but these should be programs we can protect.”

“These must be programs we can explain. These must be programs that we can justify. Otherwise we endure foreign aid.”
