Donald Trump said that a meeting is being organized between him and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The US president-elect did not give a time frame for when the meeting might take place.
“He wants to meet and we will arrange it,” he said in a speech at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.
Trump has promised to negotiate an end to the war in Ukraine shortly after he takes office on January 20 and has expressed skepticism about US military and financial support for Kiev.
