Tom Hollandthe proposal of Zendaya months in the making … TMZ has learned that the Marvel star had the blessing of an important family member long before getting down on one knee.
Sources close to the couple tell TMZ that the Spider-Man star has been dating the Euphoria actress’ father. Ambassador Ajamu Coleman“months ago” in order to propose to Zendaya.
We’re told this was an important step for Tom… as he is very traditional and felt it was important to secure Kazembe’s blessing first.
Ambassador, Apparently, it was accepted … and we’re told Zendaya’s family is very excited about this next chapter in her relationship with Tom. In fact, sources say Zendaya’s family just loves Tom … and thinks he’s “classy.”
For those wondering, we’re told Tom waited months to propose as he waited for the right moment.
TMZ broke the story … Tom proposed at one of Zendaya’s family homes here in the US during the holiday season between Christmas and New Year’s.We got engaged after Zendaya rocked her new bling at the Golden Globes.
They had a very intimate engagement … their respective families were not there.
Tom and Zendaya met for the first time in Spider-Man. while starring in Homecoming, playing on-screen love interests Peter Parker and AJ. Although there were countless rumors about their relationship, their romance was confirmed until 2021… mottled closing lips in the car.
