The Dangers and Absurdities of Trump’s DC Occupation

I was alone because I was wrong for demonstrating pots and plans against Donald Trump’s military occupation in Washington, Colombia District. I missed a cocophane protest, one of many in different parts DMV (DM, Maryland and Virginia). Having lived in DC, I now have five minutes walking across the border in Merilend. But my family works in DC, my neighbors (those who are not yet fired) work in DC, and our lives wrapped in a city that suffers under another big lie.

Just as inappropriate as I felt that while making solo performances with pots, while the families looked at me spectacularly, it feels appropriate. It was no more inappropriate than the proclamation of a criminal epidemic in the city, where the crime has decreased significantly since 2023. It was no more inappropriate than reading lectures on law and order of officials covering the child’s position, which seems to be related to their chief. It was no more inappropriate than the white employee of the middle -aged justice department named Sean Dan, who became a folk hero (not pun) for calling one of Trump’s troops, pressing a dirty sandwich in the chest, and then exceeds them. It was no more inappropriate than the Attorney General Bondi, and her sacral necklaces are large enough for the improvised crucifixion, say that the seed -grape with shoes for the boat is part of the “deep state” that it is tirelessly struggling.

It was no more inappropriate than the fact that the city’s city fire was caused by an alleged attack on Elon Muscovite, known as “big balls” for the age of 12. It was no more inappropriate than seeing the White House spokesman Caroline Levita asked the White-Spremoca Gadfley, Russian Stajg and Plagiarism Benny Johnson at the official briefing in the White House press when big goals will receive a presidential freedom medal. It was no more out of place than to hear these very human Republicans lining up to say how they are afraid to go to work in the morning. Senator Oklahoma Marcvein Malin, a brutal dolt that disputes witnesses of the liberal congresses before the fists, said he did not cope with his DC safety belt with fear that he will be killed. Representative Tim Berchet said he was asleep in his office, horror from the city on the street.

Let them make themselves laugh to prove their loyalty to Trump, or because they actually live with this fear, I can’t imagine how to admit such things. Their children are fine, thinking that Dad, in the strongest neighborhood from the US, is afraid to leave their office. In 2025, the cornerstone of white conservatism was about the death of the American “courage” and the glorification of virtue of the gun – everything, confessing to be a coward.

Trump says that the safety of the freshly -like pink garden, where its UFC ring is likely to go that we have “the caravans of the youth who walk through the city streets at any time of the day”. (Note the use of a “caravan”, a descriptor who is usually saved for immigrants trying to cross the border. This is a clan mad lib.)

Please listen to me: I am here every day, and there are no “caravans” seeking Carjack Oklahoma Senators with the problems of courage. Instead, Trump tries to nationalize what he has done with the Central Park 5, and, as in Central Park 5, is a separate lie. This is another big lie that promotes Fox News, in which Trump fans must believe. They crave Trump to become their white knight, and therefore he desperately wants them to be considered his time on Epstein Island. Trump should distract them, and he needs to suppress the democratic rebellion against the unsuccessful, increasingly unpopular agenda – and this step is both.

It’s not about a street crime. It is about the desire of the public to the President of Milk to occupy cities in the States with the Democratic Governors, to put the ultimate share in the heart of democratic norms and, most critically, to do it all on fictional conditions. The key is to force people to accept the lies to become complicit. The drop in crimes is irrelevant. The murder ratio in the Red States does not matter. If you decide to believe lies, you find yourself protecting her. If you protect it, you become part of the damage. Trump makes people believe in the fact that it is not true, this is a political version of receiving more prints on the gun handle.

DC is the ideal platform for this coup because it has no statehood and a limited home rule. The banners hang out of the overpass, with a long -standing slogan of 1776 and a DC statehood: “No occupation without representation.”

This activity provides checkpoints, ice raids, terrorization of dissatisfied people and Washington Post Interactive neighborhood cards so you can watch the hobby of the country’s capital from the comfort of your sofa. National Democrats and Centrists never treated the DC state movement seriously. The cost for this will be paid far beyond the area.
