Tank Says Grammys Are Needed After L.A. Fires

tank says the Grammys are making the right call by spinning in the wake of the Los Angeles wildfires.

We caught up with the R&B star at LAX, and he told our photo that the Grammys are doing the right thing by focusing the awards show on relief efforts and awareness.


Los Angeles Fires - Heartbreaking aftermath

Tank is a member of The Recording Academy and praises the CEO Harvey Mason Jr To turn the Grammys into a major fundraiser.


There were some people who thought the Grammys should postpone the Feb. 2 show because of the damage and devastation Angelinos are dealing with … but Tank hopes the show will bring some cheer.

Jhene Aiko“Guidance” was nominated for Best R&B Performance and she lost his home In the Palisades fire.

Tank says that’s one of the reasons the Grammys have to go on … so people who’ve lost everything can still have their moment.
