Shamrock Rovers will play Norway’s Molde in the play-off round of the UEFA Conference League.
The Dublin club finished 10th in the league stage, securing top spot in Friday’s draw. despite Thursday night’s 5-1 defeat to Chelsea.
They have won three of their six matches in the league stage, defeating Northern Ireland’s Larne, Wales’ TNS and Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Borak Banja Luka.
A win would secure the tie for Steven Bradley’s men Circle Bruges or Legia Warsaw in the last 16.
Shamrock’s seeding means they will be at home for the second leg on February 25, with the first leg on February 13.
Chelsea led the league stage with six wins from six and therefore skipped the play-off stage and will face one of them instead. Gent, “Real Betis”., Copenhagen or Heidenheim at the end of March 16.
Gent will play Real Betis and Copenhagen will play Heidenheim in a double-header with Chelsea v Chelsea. Vitoria de Guimaraes waiting for the winners. The draw for the round of 16, quarter-finals and semi-finals will be decided on February 21.
As the starting team, Chelsea will play the away match on March 6, with the reverse fixture at Stamford Bridge scheduled for March 13.
