The Russian woman has been accused Shutting down to a Delta Air Lines flight He has been accused of knowingly and intentionally hiding on a plane from New York to Paris.

Svetlana Dali, 57, was arrested by the FBI on Wednesday after returning to New York. He made his first appearance on Thursday.

“On or about November 26, 2024, defendant Svetlana Dali boarded Delta Airlines flight DL264 at JFK without a boarding pass and flew as a stowaway to Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris,” according to the criminal complaint obtained by ABC News.

At his first appearance, the judge granted a temporary remand until 2pm on Friday to try to secure a bail package and a verifiable address.

He did not enter a plea.

Surveillance footage from Nov. 26 showed Dali arriving at John F. Kennedy International Airport and attempting to line up at a Transportation Security Administration checkpoint. He was turned away because he couldn’t show his boarding pass, the complaint says.

Minutes later, Dali successfully entered the TSA line “through a special lane for airline personnel disguised as a large Air Europa flight crew,” the suit said. Dali was screened and boarded the plane without presenting his boarding pass.

“Delta agents, who were busy helping ticketed passengers board, did not stop him or ask him to present his boarding pass before boarding the plane,” the complaint states.

Svetlana Dali, the Delta Airlines stowaway who flew from New York’s JFK International Airport to Paris Charles-de-Gaulle Airport on November 26, 2024, was identified by her daughter and ex-husband in December.

By the time the crew realized Dali had no seat, the plane was on its way to France.

“Prior to the flight’s landing, Delta employees notified French law enforcement that Dali was traveling on the plane as a stowaway,” the complaint said.

In an interview with the FBI upon his return, Dali allegedly admitted to flying as a stowaway. He allegedly said he didn’t have a plane ticket and deliberately evaded TSA security officials and Delta employees so he could travel without buying one.

Dali admitted to being depicted by surveillance footage, according to the complaint. He also stated that he knew his conduct was illegal.

Less than a week before the incident, Dali filed a civil lawsuit against the FBI, Pennsylvania State Police and other authorities, alleging that the Russian Federation sold her to her ex-husband for $20,000.

The lawsuit alleges that they were abused and poisoned.

Dali himself filed the lawsuit and the allegations are handwritten.
