Philsutwey Phil woke up on Sunday and saw his shadow, so he puts us over six weeks of winter, according to legend.
If the legend has that PunexSutawney PhilMaybe the most famous land in the world sees his shadow, the winter will continue for six more weeks, but his shadow spring will come early.

Punxsutawny’s weather, Pennsylvania, was cloudy during the ad, with temperatures that passed around 20 degrees Fahrenheit. The snow was expected later on Sunday.

Through the ceremony Phil hats around the hats are members of the interior circle of the PunxSutawn Groundhog Club. According to their website, it is their mission “to protect and perpetuate the legend of the great weather forecast. PunexSutaWney Phil.”
Philen predictions have been quite over the last decade. From 2020 to 2020, the land planned a longer winter three times and early spring three times. But, in general, until the age of 1887, according to the associated press, Phil has planned six more winter winter than 100 times.

In fact, PunxSutawney Phil has planned 107 times and six weeks before early spring 21 times alone – without registering 10 of these years from 1887, according to the oceanic and atmospheric administration.

Eventually, PunxSutawney Phil’s “predictions” should be taken with a grain of salt.
In 10 annual predictions of 2013, PunxSutawney Phil was more accurate than flipping a coin. It was four times during this period – 2020, 2016, 2014 and 2013 – and it has been wrong in the other six cases.
