New dashcam footage shows New Orleans police putting themselves at incredible risk to stop the Bourbon Street terror attack.
The newly released video begins after the suspect, Shamsood-Dean Jabbar, mowed down NYE revelers and crashed his truck … and you see officers circling the vehicle with guns drawn.
With the driver’s side door open, an officer was closing in just inches away from Jabbar, who the cops couldn’t see because of the deployed airbags in his truck.
The officers quickly retreated, but returned fire as they did, killing Jabbar.
As we reported, 2 officers of the AOC was shot during the exchange and were hospitalized, but they survived their injuries.
While there was criticism of how Jabbar was able to get around the police barricades to reach Bourbon Street and mow down 14 people, the heroism of the officers who took him down is on full display in this new video.
