Bourbon Street in New Orleans has reopened after being closed for an investigation following a deadly attack on New Year’s Day.

The BBC’s Carl Nasman spoke to people about how they felt when they returned to the street where the attack took place.

Shamsud-Deen Jabbar was driving a truck down Bourbon Street before he was shot by officers on the morning of January 1, killing 14 people.

At least 39 people are still being treated in hospitals in the area, according to the BBC’s American partner CBS.
