Belgian soccer player Radia Nainggolan was arrested as part of a cocaine-trafficking investigation.
The 36-year-old was one of several suspects detained by Belgian police on Monday morning after a series of raids across the country.
“The investigation concerns the alleged facts of the import of cocaine from South America to Europe through the port of Antwerp and redistribution in Belgium,” the Brussels prosecutor said in a statement.
No additional information has been released to the public.
