My Chemical Romance Says Goodbye! Bob Briarthe band’s former drummer, who was found dead in his home last week.
The band have just broken their silence on Bob’s shocking death, posting a tribute on social media, saying… “It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to Bob Briar, our former bandmate and an important part of My Chemical Romance’s history.”
The group adds … “At this time, we send our deepest condolences to his friends and family. May he rest in peace.”
TMZ broke the story…it was Bob was found dead Tuesday at his home in Tennessee. It’s unclear how Bob died, he was last seen alive on Nov. 4, but we’re told foul play is NOT suspected.
Bob played drums in My Chemical Romance from 2004 to 2014, replacing … Matt Pelissier Soon after the band released their album “Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge”.
Bryar was the drummer on 2006’s The Black Parade, arguably the band’s best-known record, and wrote songs on 2010’s Danger Days. for The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys.
Bob left the band before the release of “Danger Days”…and eventually he left the music industry and started working in real estate.
He was 44 years old.
