Ms Fleming, who lives in Darem, said that after the catastrophe on the family there was a “pressure” so that they would accept the settlement without “no explanation as to how the drilling setting is sank” and “the doors of the authorities were securely closed for any questions” .
“The Norway government has made a conscious decision not to do what would naturally and reasonably come after the accident,” said Ms Fleming, adding that he did not want to conduct a complete investigation because it could affect the industry that provides “wealth and prosperity”.
The Norway government had previously apologized for failures in its investigations, but in 2021 it decided that the new investigation would give nothing new.
Ms Fleming said that “grateful” for “important” new study, adding that it could “help find out the truth.”
