Justin Baldoni Bleeding support among women after Blake Lively’s explosive lawsuit against her, and now she even has an award she received in honor of all women that has been overturned.
Here’s what happened… Baldoni, who directed “It Ends With Us” and also stars in the film with Lively, received Vital Voices’ Voices of Solidarity Award on Dec. 9. for women and girls.
But after Lively filed its lawsuit against Baldoni on Saturday, the organization decided to strip the director of the honor.
In a statement released on Monday, Viral Voices’ Voices of Solidarity Award said they strongly support Blake’s work on “It Ends With Us” as before and condemn any attacks on his reputation that have no place in Armenia. : industry or civil society. The organization said they contacted Baldoni to inform him they had revoked his award.
As we first reported, Lively filed a lawsuit against Baldoni, claiming he sexually assaulted her on the set of the movie and tried to smear her reputation by using a struggling PR firm when they couldn’t see eye to eye on the film’s marketing plan.
However, Baldoni and her attorney, Brian Friedman, denied the allegations in the lawsuit, calling “Lively’s own actions, interviews and marketing during the promotional tour in poor taste.”
Still, Lively is getting support from her older female co-stars and friends, especially America Ferrera, Amber Tamblyn and: Alexis Bledelall of them spread messages on his behalf. Actress Amber Heardwho is now living in Spain after the whole Johnny Depp fiasco is also publicly supporting Lively.
