Jason Derulo he’s optimistic about TikTok’s fate… despite the countdown to the social media app’s ban in the US.
The singer shared his thoughts on the upcoming ban Rule: K“Open House Party” radio show, where he defended TikTok as “too valuable” to just black it out.

He sees a lot at stake in shutting down the social media app, noting that there are a lot of people behind the scenes who want to find a way to make TikTok available in the US.
Jason, who has 66 million followers on the app, says he’d like to buy TikTok…if only the company would consider its follower count for ownership.
In fact, JD believes that one of the many billionaires who have expressed interest in rescuing TikTok will likely be the key to the platform’s bailout.
Although Jason might be a little more nervous now… given that the Supreme Court upheld TikTok’s ban on Friday, paving the way for a possible ban on US app stores starting Sunday.
So it’s a good thing Jason has a contingency plan in case the blackout happens.

As he tells Kannon, he’s open to using other social media alternatives, including TikTok competitor RedNote, but he believes whoever does live streaming best will eventually come out on top.
