Janet Jacksonhe’s paying homage to perhaps the biggest moment of his career… as one of his dancers grabbed his chest from behind during his last show, and it’s a pretty clear “Nipplegate” reference.
The singer-songwriter took the stage at Resorts World in Vegas on Monday … and while dressed in a skin-tight black leather bodysuit, the dancer reached over and ran her hands across Jackson’s chest … while Ms. Jackson was on hand.
Jackson has his hands above his head here…letting his dancer grab everything she needs for the performance, just like Justin Timberlake did in Super Bowl XXXVIII in 2004.

After the incident, Janet dealt with all kinds of scrutiny and it temporarily derailed her career… and JT. He eventually apologized Janet in 2021, though, she kind of took it back earlier this year.
It’s funny that Janet acknowledges this moment that nearly destroyed her career…especially at the end of such a tumultuous year for JT; was arrested for DUI in June and was the subject of public ridicule her wardrobe malfunction earlier this month.

Janet also turned her residency, which launched yesterday, into a family affair … as eagle-eyed fans spotted her mum Catherine showed up to cheer on his little girl.
Jackson appears to be using the residency to reflect on his career, including confronting all of his old controversies.
