About the brutal murder of Charlie Kirk, a certain shock and a stunning problem from this country.

The improvised memorial was created at the Turning Point USA headquarters after the death of the firing at Utah’s college on Wednesday Charlie Kirk.

Obviously, I have to start this week, talking about another meaningless act of violence with weapons. On Wednesday an unknown teen shot two of his classmates Evergreen High School in Jefferson County, Colorado. Then the militant turned the weapon that the authorities describe as a revolver – and took his own life. Both of his victims remain in the hospital, one in critical condition.
Such a consistent feature of our society has become in school images that we respond to them almost accidentally. Only family and friends who participated mourn with the victims. The flags do not fall to six months due to the respect for the innocent young lives, which are accepted in places of study and education. Politicians do not turn to tragedies with convincing ideas to correct the problem. The presidents do not resort to the nation from the oval office to offer their plan to exit school and preserve our children safe.
Unlike some people, I do not believe that the permanent death drum and violence in our country’s schools is an acceptable price to pay for freedom to own a private arsenal. I don’t think the second amendment should be interpreted as a murder pact.
Every life, lost in violence with weapons, is prevented by a tragedy. Our country refuses to prevent this. These pictures are not inevitable. We decided to live in this way under the repressive threat of violence with weapons. And our choice is terrible.
Bad and ugly
- Right activist Charlie Kirk was brutally killed Speaking in a speech in Utah. His last words “counting on or not counting bandit violence” when he answered the screaming question about the number of mass shootings. He was survived by his wife and two children. My condolences to the family, friends and loved ones.
- Late on Thursday evening, Kirk’s striker was taken into custody. We do not yet know the motifs of the shooter, but it has not stopped the media media Going to exceeding With calls to go to the “war” on the left.
- President Donald Trump responded to the death of his political ally the only way he knows as: with threats And he promises to pay back political enemies against him.
- Cleaning the voting of the media who do not want to appreciate the hated, racist career of Kirk has already begun. Msnbc fired Analyst Matthew Daud, who said in response to the shooting: “Hate thoughts lead to hated words that then lead to hated action.” Talking the truth on television is never a reasonable career.
- Meanwhile HBCU in Virginia were forced to cancel classes Once they received a number of reliable threats. To reconsider, the white man was killed by another White man For reasons we don’t know yet, but for some reason it means that black people should catch hell.
Inspired to take
Nation Joan Walsh refuses to forget Who was Charlie Kirk and what he really played for. This is the only thing I’m going to apply in this week. Not only because it is so well written, but also because it refuses to take white-wings in Kirk’s career. The fact that Nation Published this work, unlike, I don’t know, shooting with Joan Walsh for having the power to remember the things that have actually happened is a pretty good example of why I work here and not elsewhere.
The worst argument of the week
The Internet goes badly about Charlie Kirk now, but there is one person who decided to use the ingredients of each bad to take and dissolve them into the slope, which at this point perfectly covers everything wrong. This man is Ezra Klein. His work that is not studied under the name “Charlie Kirk was engaged in politics the right way”, Going beyond the guy’s simple hagiography, whose literal recent words were racial insult to reach the level of intellectual separation from the reality, which, in my opinion, can only reach the white man in America.
Klein writes: “You may not like most of what Kirk believed, and the following statement is still true: Kirk was engaged in politics exactly.” I want people to pay attention to the choice of Klein’s words here because almost every one of them is covered with a white supreme apologet. Attentive reading:
- “Unfriendly”: You see, for such a white man as Ezra, politics and political discourse is a matter taste. Klein is undoubtedly disliked When Kirk said gay should be stones to death, but for him it is just a matter of benefits. For example, for other people – say, gays that would be stones to death, if Kirk was more effective for his political purposes – Kirk was not just an unpleasant provocateur, his ideology became a threat to their very existence. Or not the whole class of people be eligible for existence This is not a game for some of us as it is for Ezra.
- “The next statement is still true”: I feel that when the guy predicts a statement with something to “what I’m going to say is true”, they are going to lie.
- “Kirk was engaged in politics exactly”: first of all, “the right way” is not a fact that can be shown “true”. This is a valuable solution. And value opinions can be questioned, no matter how white a person who makes them stomp and claim that his opinions are facts. If we see what values the Klein supports through Avatar Kirk, we see that Kirk practices the most possible separate form of politics. Kirk’s goals were indignation, not enrichment. He practiced bullying policy and threat. He called the empathy “invented word” and said that black women lacked the “forces of processing” of his white colleagues. Did Kirk have the right to say these things? Absolutely. Should he kill him for politics as he did? Absolutely no. But to say that the policy exercise on the way was “exactly”, it is, frankly, a disgusting statement by Mr. Klein. I don’t even think there is one, “exactly” way to engage in politics, but if there is, I probably don’t think the only real way – racially humiliate black people and threaten the existence of LGBTC -community. I want the policy people to be better than Charlie Kirk. And Ezra Klein.

Klein’s article continues to condemn political violence. I agree with this, of course. But condemnation of political violence as a observer with ed. In our interests, our interests condemn the violent murder of public figures because we all know what we can be next. It does not make us sensitive, exquisite and more enlightened than the least common noun in social media, it makes us interested in ourselves.
Moreover, it is quite possible to condemn political violence and mourn the victims of political violence without exciting the political influence of victims of violence. Klein does not pass to be a basic test.
Charlie Kirk imagined the most terrible American political discourse, and I would like him to be still alive so I could tell him, in front, again and again. I would like him to live long enough to see everything he worked to achieve scattering around him.
You see what I did there, Ezra? It is really not difficult.
What I wrote
The largest story in America has become the permission of the Supreme Court for racial profiling against Latin American. I wrote about it here. Once the white media will celebrate their martyr Talisman racism and bigotry, I hope we can restore a conversation on how the rest of us are forced to live in this white supreme state.
In news not related to current chaos
Sorry, people, I don’t have it this week. It’s all the time, it’s all the time, and even my incredible self -government forces feel a little bit down. The ravages of the Yankees spent a moment of silence to honor a man whose all his life was devoted to humiliating people as I, and the people I worry about, but somehow in death that man is a real Yankee? I have never been more happy to be a fan of Mets for my entire life.
All I can do is try to bring out the storm. Violent whites have blood, and it usually means incredibly bad things like me. I have public speeches that I probably need to cancel. I hope to survive this, staying as far as possible from white people as possible until their fever breaks through.
