I don’t have a huge sweet tooth, but sometimes I’m in the mood for a healthy dessert. My kids especially love the sweet treat. These homemade protein bars are chocolaty, creamy, and filled with salty butter. They are easy to customize and look like for a snack or a good meal!
Homemade protein bars
The protein is finally getting into the light of the scene. I’m finding more and more protein recipes in the Instagram feed and I love it! Unfortunately, not all of them use pure ingredients, or they choose protein powders with those who know that they are not fans. I’ve used protein bars in the past with some high-protein recipes, but something tells me about the cottage cheese protein bars.
Instead, they use protein powder. There are many different types of protein powders for many people. What I love about the device is that it is made from grass-fed beef protein. There is no milk, whey, and protein (such as soy or soy). Although I am really against milk or grains, including anesthesia can cause food loading issues for some people. The consumption of beef protein powder is easy and does not have an unmistakable luxurious taste.
Customize your ingredients
I used chocolate protein powder to get the homemade protein bars here at Protein House. Vanilla works too, but salted caramel, nutty chocolate or cheese coffee protein powders are just as delicious. All devices have these different flavors as options.
You can also use any butter you like in these. I used peanut butter, but try walnut butter to change the flavor of the butter or flavor. There are many good options!
Recipe for Oak Flour If you don’t have flour, you can easily make your own from rolled oats. Simply grind certain oils with coffee grounds or high-speed brush, like Vitithix like vitamix.
And if you avoid grains or oats, then try a little coconut flour instead. Start with 1 tablespoon of coconut flour until you get the texture you want. Coconut flour is very sticky so be careful here.
My kids love these homemade protein bars so much, I make a triplet every time I make them!
