The BBC has contacted the IDF about the second strike in central Beirut.
Earlier on Sunday, the Israel Defense Forces said it struck six Hizbollah military targets in the southern suburbs.
Last week, the Israeli military stepped up its attacks on Beirut amid renewed US efforts to end the war.
Israel had already killed Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and other top commanders and senior officials in Beirut in late September when Israel launched an offensive against the Iran-backed group.
Israel has said it wants to return tens of thousands of displaced residents to the country’s north, nearly a year after Hezbollah stepped up rocket attacks in support of Palestinians following the October 7, 2023, attack by Hamas on Israel.
