The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank is working with a network of more than 600 partner agencies to assess needs during the SoCal wildfire emergency.

Housing
It is working with Airbnb to help residents displaced from their homes or forced to evacuate by wildfires. 211 LAServing Los Angeles County, to provide free temporary housing.
Stays are completely free for guests and are funded by Airbnb and the generosity of Airbnb hosts, many of whom offer their homes for free or at a discount. Airbnb.org.

Resources for health professionals
A Los Angeles-based healthcare apparel company IMAGES It’s offering free personal protective equipment to hospitals, in addition to help with meals, scrubs and daycare expenses for medical professionals affected by the SoCal wildfires.

Rest options
Discovery cube offers free admission to the children’s museum until Friday, January 10. The museum is open on Thursday until 17:00 and on Friday from 10:00 to 17:00.
Ride sharing support
Lyft is offering two rides for $25 each ($50 total) for Los Angeles residents affected by the wildfires. Use code CAFIRERELIEF25 now through January 15th at 11:59 p.m
Uber is offering free rides up to $40 using the code WILDFIRE25, while Lyft is offering two rides worth $25 to $500 using the code CAFIRERELIEF25. Uber drivers’ earnings will not result in free rides.
The code is valid for 500 riders and is offered as part of the Lyft Up Disaster Response program.
Self storage
Those affected by the fires can get 30 days of free U-Haul self-storage or U-Box container rentals at one of 92 locations:

Now through Wednesday, January 15, T-Mobile is offering unlimited talk, text and data for T-Mobile, Metro by T-Mobile and Assurance Wireless customers who don’t have those services on their current plan.
These services are being made available to customers in Altadena, La Cañada Flintridge, Los Angeles, Palisades, Pasadena and Sierra Madre.
Hearing aids
Dr. Amit Gosalia is working to replace hearing aids and chargers for victims of the SoCal fires. If you have a Starkey Hearing, Signia Hearing, Oticon or Cochlear Corp hearing aid, you may be looking for a replacement.
Dr. Gosalia said you don’t need to visit her office, and she will work with any doctor in Los Angeles to help you. Affected residents can call 602-625-7655 for more information.
