Jean Smart says one thing that should be off the Thanksgiving dinner table this year is… campaign talk.
We caught up with the “Hacks” actress at Mission Los Angeles on Wednesday, where she was handing out turkey dinners to the homeless, and our photo asked her if people should be political about their holiday gatherings.
There’s been a lot of talk about families not inviting their relatives based on who they voted for a few weeks ago…and Gene says everyone would be much better off if they just played nice and performed. come with a united front.
Easier said than done, though…and it looks like Jean will let the folks on the other side off the aisle easily when it’s time to carve the turkey.
Jean admits that her plan to confront the relatives because of politics probably won’t end well… and she says it’s better if most people wait until Easter to argue. Trump and: Harris.
Bottom line…don’t give your relatives the bird because of politics.
