Twelve people have died from carbon monoxide poisoning at a ski resort in Georgia, police said.
The bodies of 11 foreigners and one Georgian citizen were found in a sleeping area above a restaurant at the Gudauri ski station in the north of the country, officials said.
Police said “preliminary tests do not show any signs of violence on the bodies” and it appears to have been an accident, reports AFP.
Gudauri is the largest and highest mountain ski resort in the post-Soviet space.
