Elon Musk’s appearance at a Trump rally this afternoon is getting a lot of attention online for a one-handed gesture.
He made the gesture by thanking supporters for their contribution to Trump’s victory. Musk thanked the crowd for “making this happen” before placing his right hand over his heart and then extending the same hand into the air directly in front of him.
“My heart goes out to you. The future of civilization is secured because of you,” he said.
Several users on the social media platform X, which he owns, compared the gesture to a Nazi salute.
Musk did not comment after his appearance at the Capital One Arena rally earlier.
