Trump signed the order in the Oval Office … telling the crowd that people have been waiting for this moment for decades.
Trump also told the aide to hand over the pen to sign the document Robert Kennedy Jr — RFK’s son and his pick for Secretary of Human and Health Services.
Trump says there are no national security concerns that would be jeopardized by the release of the documents. In the case of JFK, the word on the streets of DC was that a foreign government, possibly Cuba, was behind the assassination.

A plan to release the JFK files must be submitted in 15 days. Plan to release RFK and MLK papers within 45 days.
Records related to President Kennedy’s assassination have been slow to be released over the years … and President Trump promised during his first term that he would make it easier to release the still-classified documents.
