The LA Dodgers fan who had a terrible fireworks accident He underwent several procedures to repair his hand during the World Series … but despite the unfortunate incident, he tells TMZ Sports he stays positive through it all.
We talked Kevin King updated on his fourth surgery since the DTLA incident that cost him the index and middle finger on his left hand … and he’s thankful it wasn’t worse.
“If you only lose a few fingers, don’t worry about it,” he said. “Thank goodness it wasn’t my face, my eye, or my ears.”
Although she’s hoping the fourth surgery is her last…there’s a chance she’ll have to go under the knife again.
The 25-year-old said he tried to reach out to the Dodgers via social media … but has yet to hear back.
But she’s had a lot of support from strangers online, King said, reaching out to someone she’d never met before who’d been in a fireworks accident herself for support and advice on how to cope.
King also expressed gratitude for everyone who donated to him GoFundMe: … saying that the donations did not go unnoticed.
Ultimately, King said, he’s not looking for anyone’s sympathy … but hopes to set an example for others, and leave the fireworks to the professionals.
