The gas cease transaction between Israel and Hamas looked shaky because it came into force on January 19, but now it looks closest to fall completely.
The Senior Egyptian source said the BBC that regional mediators of Egypt and Qatar “have strengthened their diplomatic efforts in an attempt to save the ceasefire agreement.”
The Hamas delegation has now come to Cairo to hold the current crisis, “Hamas official said. He once again confirmed the “full commitment” of his group to the terms of the transaction.
On Tuesday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said: “If Hamas does not return our hostages to the Saturday at noon, the ceasefire will end, and (Israeli military) will resume intense fighting.”
However, there were ambiguous reports on whether it means that all 76 hostages still in the gas – according to the high share of Ultimatum, recommended by US President Donald Trump.
Trump reacted to Hamas threatened to disrupt the agreement on Monday.
He complained about the violation of the ceasefire of Israel, in particular, related to, and warned that on Saturday it was detaining the hostage release.
Last week, a new radical presidential plan to absorb gas to the United States – without two million Palestinian residents – also changed the context to cease the fire that its administration helped the broker.

So, what else do we know about what’s going on behind the scenes?
When it comes to the results of a four -hour meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Tuesday, Israeli journalists have recognized puzzles about conflicting and confusing briefings.
After the video message from the Israeli Prime Minister demanded the release of “our hostages”, the first reports – quoting an unnamed high -ranking Israeli official – stated that it referred to the original three men’s hostages planned to be released.
It was then said that Israel expected that the last nine live hostages are scheduled for release at a six -week first ceasefire, which should be released, which is allegedly 33 captives.
Then the key ministers began to weigh. Miri Regev is a close ally of Netanyahu – said on X that the decision was “very clear” and repeated Trump’s demand. She said, “Everyone will be released by the Saturday!”
Finance Minister Israeli Financing Baseless – who threatened to leave the Netanyahu Coalition if there was no return to fighting at the end of a six -week ceasefire transaction – went further.
On social networks, he suggested telling Hamas to release all hostages, or opened the “gate of hell”, without fuel, water and humanitarian aid that is included in the gas.
He said that there should be “fire and sulfur” from Israeli military aircraft and tanks, and the strip is fully occupied and expelled by its population.
“We have all international support on this,” he said.
His comments show how Trump’s post -war vision in Gaza has strengthened the right in Israel.
This is said to be worried that Israeli security chiefs who have agreed on the current ceasefire agreement and believe that his collapse threatens the life of hostages.
Israeli media reports that they push the way to return the next three captives holding Hamas on the weekend.
The hostage families and their supporters were disturbed by the latest events, as well as the gas war.

The fact that Hamas leader Khalil al-Haja leads the delegation to the implementation in Cairo, shows that the armed group is also trying to return the ceasefire agreement.
On January 19, 16 Israeli hostages brought home in exchange for hundreds of Palestinian prisoners who conducted Israel were noted. Five Thai farm workers were also released.
At the same time, Israeli troops retreated directly in the perimeter of Gaza, including along the Egyptian border.
The relative peace allowed hundreds of thousands of displaced Palestinians to return to their own neighborhoods and brought a surge in humanitarian aid.
However, the current deadlock is connected with Hamas’s statement that Israel did not support its promises for the first phase of the truce.
It states that it required Israeli authorities to allow about 300,000 tents and 60,000 caravans in gas.
With so many people who return to the ruins of their homes – during cold, humid winter weather – such shelters were desperate.
Fuel and generators also say they have a shortage – especially in the north of gas – where it is urgently required, especially for water pumps and bakeries.
It’s hard to check what went into the lane.
According to the data given to the UN, “since the ceasefire came into force, 644,000 gas respects were given to asylum, including tents, tight materials and tarp.”
The Israeli military corps of Kogat said Israel “obliged and fulfilled its obligations to join 600 humanitarian trucks into the gas lane every day.”
Added: “According to the data available to us, as the agreement came into force, hundreds of thousands of tents entered the gas lane.”

Despite conflicting accounts, it can be assumed that the issues concerning Israel may be resolved by mediators.
“Cairo and Doha urge all parties to adhere to the terms of the agreement against the backdrop of political and field difficulties that make the task more difficult,” said the Senior Egyptian source of the BBC.
“The continuation of the ceasefire in the interests of everyone, and we warn that the collapse of the agreement will lead to a new wave of violence with serious regional consequences.”
Even if the immediate crisis can be overcome until this weekend, it will still leave the next stage of ceasefire.
The first stage of the transaction should end in March, when Hamas and Israel disagree. Until now, negotiations have been postponed.
The Israeli Prime Minister postponed discussions on the next phase against the background of pressure within his ruling coalition and is growing evidence as part of the ceasefire, which – in contradiction of its military purposes – Hamas remains a significant political and military force in Gaza.
During the hostage transfer and the distribution of Hamas assistance, he sought to design an image of his own power.
Although he previously signaled with a willingness to share power with other Palestinian factions, he still looks unlikely to disarm.
In addition, Trump doubled from his idea to turn gas into a Mediterranean place for travel – after moving those who live there to Jordan and Egypt – caused shock and indignation in the Arab world.
Egypt claims that he formulated his own comprehensive gas reconstruction plan – which will not include Palestinians who leave their land.
Leaders of Egypt, Qatar, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia are expected to meet ahead of the Conference in Cairo on February 27.
The constant dispute about the future of gas adds confusion and feelings of deep distrust against the background of efforts to address modern issues.
